Hello everyone, from me, Rob Scheid, to all of you who find your way to my website! Life led me into photography many years ago, and it has been a fun and rewarding ride. Along the way I have played with different art mediums, combining them with photography. Lately, in addition to the work that pays the bills, I have been working on a mixed media art project with a theme of intelligence & energy usage, aptly named “Beyond Crude.” The first piece I finished is a 16×12 foot mixed media wall sculpture, which includes found objects, followed by a number of sculptures & abstract photographs of military gas cans. It is a work in progress: I have a number of large pieces planned and ready to be built, as I have time to devote to the project. Click here to view the photos of the project.
